How does this whole thing work?
As soon as you place your order, we will ship the device to the address listed via USPS first priority mail. It may take 2-5 business days to arrive, depending on your location. It will come fully activated with all demographic and contact information already set up, so all you have to do is plug it in and test it for the first time.

When the SOS button is pressed, the wristwatch will connect to our call center, where an AI representative will ask if you’re okay. If you confirm that you’re fine and don’t need help, the conversation will end there. If you do state that you need help, you’ll immediately be connected to a live agent, who will take information about the situation and then dispatch local EMS to your location. Depending on your stated preference, they will call or text each emergency contact listed on your account to inform them of the situation.

Your $500 annual subscription covers the hardware, the monthly call center monitoring fees, and the cost of the cellular data plan. The device works through an internal SIM card provided by KirbySOS, so you do not need to have a cell phone of your own for the system to work.
What happens if I’m not satisfied?
No problem! We offer a 30-day money back guarantee. All you have to do is let us know you want to return the device within the first 30 days of receiving it, and we will send you a prepaid return label to ship the unit back. Once we receive the hardware back in our possession, we will refund the $500 in full.

If you are unsatisfied after the first 30 days, you have the ability to cancel your subscription anytime, but we would not refund you at that point. You do not need to return the watch. We will turn off the call center functionality of the device so that you won’t be able to get help if you press the button, but you are free to continue using the device for the other features it offers.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime, either by clicking the “Manage subscription” link at the bottom of every emailed invoice you receive from us, or by contacting us to let us know you wish to cancel. We will cancel your subscription so it will not renew after that point. You do not need to return the watch upon cancellation - it’s yours to keep.
What if I lose the device?
We will do our best to help you track the location of the lost devices, provided it had sufficient battery life at the time of being lost to send us its location data. If you are unable to find the hardware, we charge a fee of $100 to replace lost devices. We will replace your charger or any accessories for free.
Does the device have automatic fall detection?
Yes, but we caution against relying on the system to detect every fall - the science between fall detection is imperfect and we strongly recommend pressing the button after a fall even if automatic fall detection is turned on. KirbySOS is not held liable if a fall should occur and the automatic fall detection does not register it as such.
Where does my device work?
Your device will work anywhere in the United States with adequate AT&T 4G LTE coverage.
Is the device waterproof?
The device is IP-67 certified, which means it is water resistant but not fully waterproof. It can be worn in the shower, but should not be submerged underwater for long periods of time.
